The major work in this project is comprised of the following parts: 1.Establishing of Environmental Data Center with "Internet of Things" Accomplishing establishment of Environmental Data Center with "Internet of Things", including set up Sensor Network, Cloud Infrastructure as a Service, Environmental Sensors Platform, and various related network services and application interface (APIs) for development of Smart Environmental applications. 2.Supporting Enviornmental Data Center with integration of information services Supporting Enviornmental Data Center with integration of information services, by assisting EPA in development of Smart Environmental Services, such as deployment of Environmental Sensors, Sensor Network, and Sensor Data Storage, as well as mangement and evaluation of related system requirements. 3.Accomplishing establishement of Data Exchange Interface and Data Exchange Service between Enviornmental Data Center and other platforms Accomplishing Data Exchange Interface and Data Exchange Service between Enviornmental Data Center and other platforms, like Enviornmental Database, Enviornmental Data Exchange Platform, and Shared Geographical Data Platform, etc., in order to support the supply and demand of integrated sensor data. 4.Establishing of IoT Standard Protocol Accomplishing establishement of IoT Standard in order to define compliances for later devices to come. Standards including data format, communication protocol, naming rules, and related verification code, etc..
